Dr. Potyondy was born in Budapest, but grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles after his parents immigrated to the United States. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree with magna cum laude and phi beta kappa honors at the University of California, he completed a medical degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California. At this point, he pursued General Surgery training at Huntington Memorial Hospital, a University of Southern California affiliate in Pasadena, CA. This was followed by completion of advanced residency training in Plastic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Fort Lauderdale, where he learned the latest techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Potyondy  then founded Plastic Surgery Associates of South Georgia, LLC serving Albany, Tallahassee, Thomasville, Valdosta, Moultrie, Bainbridge, Tifton and surrounding areas. Satellite office now at Nature Coast serving all of North Florida including Perry, Monticello, Live Oak, Mayo and Steinhatchee.
